Spa Safety
and Guidelines

Welcome to Everwild Canmore. To ensure a peaceful, clean, and safe experience for all guests - we ask that you observe the following guidelines during your visit.

Spa Etiquette & Guest Conduct

  • Please shower with soap before entering any pools, saunas, or shared hydrotherapy areas – and again between sessions.
  • Everwild is a calm, restorative environment, We encourage soft voices, gentle movement, and a sense of mindfulness. Respect fellow guests’ privacy and tranquility.
  • For the comfort of all, please avoid wearing strong fragrances, perfumes, or scented products.
  • Listen to your body. Especially in hot or cold therapy zones, move at a pace that feels right for you.
  • Please wear clean swimwear, and use any towels or robes provided by us.
  • Please leave outdoor footwear and gear in your lockers – they are not permitted beyond this point.

Hygiene & Health Standards

  • All water features – pools, hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges – are maintained to meet high health and safety standards. This includes regular testing and balancing of water chemistry, filtration upkeep, and thorough disinfection of surfaces and shared spaces. Proper sanitation helps prevent waterborne and skin-related infections.
  • Towels, robes, benches, and any shared items are cleaned or replaced between uses.
  • Wet areas, floors, mats, and surfaces are promptly dried or ventilated after use to minimize risk of slips and discourage bacterial/fungal growth.
  • If you are feeling sick, have cold or flu symptoms, or believe you may be contagious, please delay your visit until you’ve fully recovered.

Medical Considerations

Everwild Canmore supports wellness, but spa - hydrotherapy, heat and cold zones - may not be suitable for everyone.
Please take note:

  • If you have a medical condition (e.g. cardiovascular issues, skin conditions, respiratory illnesses, or are taking certain medications), consult your physician before using hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, or hydrotherapy treatments.
  • Those who are pregnant, recovering from surgery or a serious injury, or under medical treatment should avoid deep-heat, cold-plunge, or intense hydrotherapy unless cleared by a healthcare provider.
  • Not recommended during the thermal cycle. Alcohol and recreational drugs can impair judgement, affect circulation, and interfere with the body’s ability to regulate temperature
  • Combining substances with heat, cold, or contrast therapy may increase the risk of dizziness, dehydration, or fainting.
  • Never push yourself beyond your comfort zone. Heat, cold, or rapid thermal changes can be intense; honour your body’s signals and rest if needed.
  • Many different factors can affect how your body reacts to thermal cycles, including: sleep, recent exercise, hydration, meals, stress levels, and hormones.

Community Respect & Shared Responsibility

  • Be considerate of others – maintain quiet and calm, especially in communal areas.
  • Dispose of waste properly, return any borrowed items (robes, sandals, towels), and leave the space as you found it.
  • Approach staff if you notice any concerns – unclean surfaces, water quality issues, maintenance needs, or anything that disrupts this peaceful environment.
