What is the Nordic spa’s hours of operation?
The Nordic spa is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Please note that re-entry is not permitted.
Do I need a Nordic spa reservation?
Although reservations are not required, we highly recommend reservations to ensure your access to both hydrotherapy and massage treatments. Click here for hydrotherapy reservations and Click here for massage reservations.
Do you have an age requirement for the Nordic spa?
Our spa is designed as a tranquil, adults-only environment for guests age 18 and older. For the comfort and relaxation of all guests, children are not permitted in the spa.
Where is the Nordic spa located?
The Nordic spa is located on the grounds of Everwild in Canmore, AB, offering beautiful mountain views in an easy-to-access Canmore location. Everwild’s address is 1 Silvertip Trail.
Are there alternatives to driving?
There are alternatives to driving and we encourage the use of other methods of transportation. There are shuttles that operate between Calgary and Banff, and once in Canmore or Banff, Roam Transit’s #3 and #5C routes offer the best access to Everwild. Please view route information here: https://roamtransit.com/schedules-routes/. Canmore and Banff offer several taxi options too.
What is a sauna ritual?
Sauna rituals involve a scent or scents, the waving of a towel by our Wellness Ambassador, and will be based on one or more of the five elements: earth, air, water, fire, and ether. Our sauna rituals are created by our Rituals Manager and team of Wellness Ambassadors, and many rituals are available daily. Please view the ritual schedule here. No two rituals are exactly the same, and we encourage you to experience at least one during your visit.
What is the cancellation policy?
Individual Nordic spa reservations can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to arrival for a full refund.
What is your severe weather policy?
If the pools are closed due to lightening or extreme temperatures and the delay is less than 60 minutes, guests that decide to leave the Nordic spa will forgo their right to a refund.
If the pools are closed due to lightening or extreme temperatures for more than 60 consecutive minutes and you have been in the spa for less than 3 hours and you choose to leave the spa after 60 minutes, we will be happy to process a refund. If you have been in the spa for more than 3 hours, a refund will not be issued.
Cancellation requests inside of 24 hours due to lightening or extreme temperatures in the forecast (35 degrees Celsius or hotter or -25 degrees Celsius or cooler) will be accommodated.
Where are robes permitted?
Robes are permitted throughout the Nordic Spa village. They are also permitted in the lobby and Rhythm & Howl dining room until 5:00 pm.
Is there a time limit in the Nordic spa village?
You are welcome from the time of your reservation for as long as you would like. We look forward to welcoming you to relax, connect with others and nature, and to rejuvenate.
What should I bring?
Please bring flip flops / sandals, a bathing suit, water bottle (no glass permitted), and please consider bringing sun protection including sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
Are cell phones and cameras allowed?
To maintain a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, phones are not permitted in the spa areas. Photography and phone conversations are not permitted inside the spa.
Are bathing suits required in the Nordic spa?
Bathing suits are required at the Nordic spa. All areas in the spa are for communal use for all genders.
What is your service animal policy?
Service animals are permitted in dining rooms, on the pool deck, and in massage rooms. They are not permitted in pools, kitchens, or saunas. Please present your service animal’s government issued ID during the arrival process as service animals will not be permitted without government-issued ID.
