More than 80,000 square feet of thermal experiences, wellness spaces and hospitality will bring a new Everwild destination to the community west of Calgary.
ROCKY VIEW COUNTY, AB – May 29, 2026 – Everwild has officially broken ground on its newest thermal destination in Harmony, marking a major milestone in the continued growth of the Canadian wellness and hospitality brand. Representing approximately $100 million in private investment in Alberta’s tourism, wellness and hospitality sectors, Everwild Harmony is set to become the largest thermal spa destination in Western Canada.
Located on Harmony Lake, west of Calgary, Everwild Harmony will span more than 80,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor spa space, bringing together hot and cold pools, saunas, steam rooms, treatment spaces, relaxation areas, wellness programming, food and gathering spaces.
The destination will also include a 26-room hotel, 10 pools, 16 treatment rooms and 700 lockers, creating Everwild’s largest location to date. Opening is targeted for spring 2028.

A New Wellness Destination for the Calgary Region
Located approximately 25 minutes west of downtown Calgary, Everwild Harmony is expected to welcome approximately 220,000 visitors in its first year and create approximately 300 jobs, contributing to the continued growth of wellness tourism in the region.
The groundbreaking brought together representatives from Everwild, Travel Alberta, Tourism Calgary and the Government of Alberta, alongside project partners and members of the local community.
Set along Harmony Lake, the property is being designed around its surroundings, with expansive indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage guests to move between thermal experiences, sauna rituals, rest, food and wellness programming throughout their visit.
The Harmony location will build on Everwild Canmore, which opened in November 2025 and was subsequently ranked #30 on Spas of America’s Top 100 Spas of 2025.
Everwild Continues to Grow
Harmony is part of a growing collection of Everwild destinations across Western Canada. In addition to Canmore and Harmony, new properties are underway in Fernie, British Columbia, and Banff, Alberta, with further locations planned as the brand continues to expand.
Each Everwild is shaped by its location, bringing together thermal experiences, sauna culture, thoughtful programming, food and hospitality in a way that reflects the surrounding community and landscape.
Everwild Harmony is currently targeted to open in winter 2028.
